Redakcja przyjmuje do druku prace w języku polskim oraz w języku angielskim.

a) Prace poglądowe, oryginalne i obserwacje kazuistyczne podlegają recenzji przez dwóch wybranych przez Redakcję recenzentów. Zasadą jest nie ujawnianie nazwisk autorów
prac wysyłanych do recenzji. Nie ujawniane są również nazwiska recenzentów autorom prac.

b) W przypadku przedruków, tłumaczeń oraz artykułów sponsorowanych Redakcja nie bierze odpowiedzialności za treść naukową tekstów.

c) Prace należy przesyłać w trzech jednobrzmiących egzemplarzach maszynopisu formatu A4 (30 wierszy na stronic, margines 4 cm) na adres Redakcji.

d) Objętość prac oryginalnych nie może przekraczać 12 stron, poglądowych 15 stron, kazuistycznych 6 stron wraz z piśmiennictwem, rycinami i tabelami, a innych prac 2 strony. Do pracy należy dołączyć tylko najbardziej niezbędne pozycje piśmiennictwa.

e) Autor(rzy) prac powinien zaznaczyć w piśmie przewodnim do Redakcji, że nadesłana praca nie była nigdzie publikowana.

Organizacja manuskryptu:

a) strona tytułowa
- imię i nazwisko każdego autora
-jednostka organizacyjna(miejsce pracy) każdego autora z nazwiskiem i tytułem przełożonego jednostki, w której autor pracuje
- pełny tytuł artykułu w języku polskim i angielskim
- adres do korespondencji

b) na drugiej stronie
- streszczenie pracy i słowa kluczowe (4-5) w języku polskim i angielskim

c) układ tekstu: wstęp, materiał i metody, wyniki, dyskusja, wnioski

d) Ryciny i tabele powinny być dołączone oddzielnie wraz z tytułami i liczbą porządkową. Na odwrocie zdjęć i rycin należy wpisać tytuł pracy i nazwisko pierwszego autora. W tekście pracy należy zaznaczyć miejsce, w którym powinien być umieszczony materiał ilustracyjny.

e) Piśmiennictwo cytowane w pracy powinno być sporządzone według kolejności ich występowania w tekście, skrót czasopism zgodnie z Index Medicus, a wykaz piśmiennictwa według „ Jednolite wymagania dotyczące prac złożonych do druku w czasopismach biomedycznych" N Eng J Med 1997;336: 309-315.

Za wydrukowane prace nie przewiduje się honorariów autorskich. Autorzy otrzymują bezpłatnie po jednym egzemplarzu numeru, w którym wydrukowano pracę. Redakcja kwartalnika nie zwraca autorom nadesłanych egzemplarzy artykułów i dyskietek.

INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS

The Editorial Board of the journal CHIRURGIA KOLANA ARTROSKOPIA, TRAUMATO-LOGIA SPORTOWA accepts articles in Polish and English language.

a) Original research papers, case reports and non-invited papers are peer reviewed by two referees. Our policy is to blind reviewers to the origin of the manuscript. The names of the reviewers are not disclosed to authors.

b) The Editor is not responsible for the scientific content of reprints from foreign journals or sponsored articles.

c) Three hard copies and paper prepared on IBM-compatible disk in Word 7.0, Text or ASCII file format as well as all correspondence should be directed to Editorial Board.

d) Original papers should not exceed 12 standard pages (the entire manuscript together with all illustrations and references should not exceed 20 pages), case reports - 6 pages, reports, letters and reviews - 2 pages. The manuscript should be written double spaced on A4 paper.

e) Authors should state that papers were not or will not be, published elsewhere.

The manuscript should be arranged as follows:

a) title page
- the full name of each author
- the organizational affiliation of each author (workplace) with the name and title of his immediate supervisor
- the full title of the article in Polish and English language
- the main author of a article is obliged to make known his postal address, internet address and contact telephone

b) second page
- summary and 4-5 key words

c) structure of the text: Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion,
Conclusions

d) Drawings, graphs and diagrams should be submitted in the final form for publication.

Please indicate, with soft pencil on the back of all illustrations, the name of the first author, the figure number and the title. Legends for the illustrations should be submitted on the separate sheet of paper and should be self-explanatory. Photographs must be black and white glossy prints.

e) References are numbered consecutively in the order of their occurrence in the text.

The style of references is that of Index Medicus.
